sculpture – stories
Much of my work is narrative, it has a story to tell. The story in my head when I made the piece might not be the same story that you find when you look at the piece. There is no right answer for what a piece is 'about'. A lot of it depends on what you bring to it.
I find it useful to ask questions: why is she so much taller? who do those faces peering out belong to? who has the power in this situation? does the title help or hinder? what's going to happen next?
